On the basis of a good forecast I used up my last remaining hours of annual leave for the financial year to go for a (Monday) morning sail. Nicely powered but fairly un-exciting to start with on the big board, but then around 11am mother nature suddenly flicked the wind switch to on and within in a minute I was seriously stacked and found myself 3 groynes upwind! So changed down to the waveboard and had a great last half-hour of powered-up blasting and jumping off some fair sized waves until a squall and work-time stopped play. Great to get out again in the sunshine.
