5th March 2007 Windsurfing: Worthing Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: Session time: 10-12 Surf / Sea State: High tide @12.20pm Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunshine and squally showers Max Speed: Distance Covered: On the basis of a good forecast I used up my last remaining hours of annual leave for the financial year to go for a (Monday) morning sail. Nicely powered but fairly un-exciting to start with on the big board, but then around 11am mother nature suddenly flicked the wind switch to on and within in a minute I was seriously stacked and found myself 3 groynes upwind! So changed down to the waveboard and had a great last half-hour of powered-up blasting and jumping off some fair sized waves until a squall and work-time stopped play. Great to get out again in the sunshine. |
